Character Sketch

Due to my health, I have been slowly working on the comic I’ve been wanting to create for a while. I’m farther along on it than I ever though I would, but the workaholic in me would prefer I had much more completed.

But one step at a time.

Recently I’ve been in a bit of a writer’s block on writing the script and was trying to figure out ways to get me out of the slump. Today I thought “You’re an artist, draw out some of your ideas like a character study” and so decided to draw out an alien character that might be in the story. And it has succeeded in breaking the block I was having.

I might redesign her. At first I debating giving her an insect abdomen instead of a humanoid looking rump, but I’ve seen so many lower half is an insect while upper is more humanoid look. But already trying to think of how she would walk, sit, etc with the current design. Back to the drawing board as they say. 🙂
